Kendra Phelix, soprano, is a May 2014 graduate from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education with a focus on general music and voice. She is now excited to start her general music and chorus teaching position at Pershing Hill Elem School/AACPS. She started singing in church choirs at the age of three and hasn't stopped singing since. Kendra was classically trained at Towson State Univ, but cannot let go of her love for musical theatre. She graduated from Arundel High School in 2010 and loves singing on praise teams at Faith Community Church. Aside from music, Kendra loves playing and watching sports and spending time with family and friends. She believes that music is an outlet that everyone can relate to, and that every child deserves to experience music.
